14 -18 March 2016, 12th EU-China Competition Week A466-C5, Beijing

From 14-18 March 2016, the EUCTP will organise the 12th EU-China Competition Week in Beijing, China. It will be the last competition week under the EUCTP, co-hosted by DG COMP and the Chinese Anti-Monopoly Enforcement Agencies (AMEAs). The individual sessions will address specific requests of the Chinese competition authorities and include priority themes such as mergers in high-tech industries and consideration of big data issues, as well as quantification of harm and parental liability for anti-monopoly infringements. This week will also provide opportunity for both sides to discuss draft guidelines on leniency applications, on commitments, and on procedural rules for exemption applications for monopoly agreements.
